The process of choosing a care facility for a family member is overwhelming. The difference between Residential Care Homes and large Assisted Living Facilities are often missed.
A Residential Care Home has the ability to created a standard which not only ensures quality care; it produces a dynamic atmosphere where it feels like an actual “home” and it enables residents to get a true sense they are part of a family.
The Assisted Living Facilities, the large size, dictates the standards for high quality care through policies and procedures. The size of many assisted living facilities makes it difficult to create the home type of environment like the Residential Care Homes do. To compensate, they have activities and services to offer. For many, those amenities are perfect and exactly what they need. For others, it's not a fit; it will become a place where they are lost and alone.
Many times when families are looking, they are enticed by endless activities and services, thinking it's important for their loved one to have these options. So how do you help them choose a true fit? By showing your loving nurturing environment, AND letting them know, if amenities and activities are what they need, you too have endless options.
By partnering with Advocate 4 Elderly, your residential care home, will be able to offer everything the large Assisted Living Facilities offer. In addition, we will work with you, without adding to your costs!
The cost is billed directly to the family just like the Assisted Living Facilities, except instead of you billing the family, Advocate 4 Elderly does.
1) Advocate 4 Elderly will handle any task, outside of your Residential Care Home, which you do not have the ability to do, due to time or manpower.
2) You promote us to your families; offer a services you see the resident needs or wants. From important tasks like accompanying resident to a doctor appointment or a "want" like going to a car show or the store. We will walk the family through what we offer and how we can help.
3) Once the family commits to the task, we handle all the moving parts. Such as coordinating with Dr office setting up the appointment, we transport and provide companionship while wait. Many times we support a patient "in" the appointment, asking questions the family or you need answers to. When the patient is brought back, we provide verbal report, then a written report to both you and family within 24 hours.
4) Usually moving forward, all medical and follow up is handled in it's entirety by us. Never a missed appointment again.
